Coastal Developmental Paediatrics is a paediatric medical consulting practice on the Sunshine Coast, with specialist paediatricians who provide assessment and management of childhood developmental and behavioural conditions.
Ethical Practice Statement
While reports of behaviours and formal assessments including psychometric assessments by allied health professionals and other specialists can be very helpful as an aid in the assessment of your child, the doctors are all specialist Paediatric medical practitioners and will determine their diagnosis and management plan based upon their own clinical formulation (with due consideration given to all of the information available). Your doctor's opinion may or may not concur with a diagnosis provided by another professional or that required for NDIS funding purpose.
Coastal Developmental Paediatrics is a private clinic and does not offer bulk-billing services.
Drs consultation fees are set individually and increased on 1 July 2025 (in line with Medicare rebate increases).

Medical services
All Developmental Paediatricians are specialist consultants with experience in the assessment and management of:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD - including ADOS assessments)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Developmental delay, and speech and language impairment
- Intellectual disability/impairment
- Learning difficulties (Dyslexia)
- Behavioural difficulties and anxiety disorders
- Genetic syndromes
- Sleep, feeding, and continence (toileting) difficulties in children with developmental difficulties
- Initial assessment for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)
- General Paediatric health care and infant wellness checks are offered by two General Paediatricians also working at the Practice.
