COVID response policy
Practitioners and staff at CDP are committed to protecting our staff, patients & the wider community from the risk of transmission of Covid-19 virus.
Covid Safety Measures:
- Face masks are recommended by all attending over the age of 12, when there is a current government guideline in place to do so
- Social distancing rules apply and capacity limits for clinic areas will follow government guidelines
- Non attending parent/guardian may join the appointment via Telehealth link
- Please sanitise your hands on arrival
- Touch surfaces are regularly cleaned and a full sanitisation process including the use of Glen 20 being sprayed in our rooms between each patient
- PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ROOMS IF YOU OR ANY OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS. You are requested to advise any illness to the administration staff, and to change your appointment to a telehealth consultation, or arrange a different appointment date and time.
Telehealth (Zoom) Appointments:
- Patients report a high level of satisfaction with Telehealth appointments
- Administration staff will provide you with a link for your Telehealth appointment; please ensure you have a good internet connection and that your video and audio are enabled, in a private, quiet location with no distractions
- Please call reception immediately following your Telehealth appointment to arrange payment and to schedule your next appointment. Payments can be made by credit card and will be submitted to Medicare for your rebate
- Prescriptions or other paperwork resulting from your Telehealth appointment will be provided to you in accordance with current practices, which may include secure electronic delivery methods
