Coastal Developmental Paediatrics is a private specialist paediatric medical consulting practice on the Sunshine Coast. The specialist paediatricians (medically-trained specialist doctors) provide assessment and management of childhood developmental and behavioural conditions, and some associated support of medical conditions in children and young people until age 16-18 years. We do not have capacity to accept teenagers with mental health concerns as new patients.
This is not an acute care medical practice and the Drs do not have capacity to respond to medical or mental health emergencies. In the case of a medical emergency, please contact 000 for emergency services, or your closest local hospital or acute care health service.

Coastal Developmental Paediatrics is a private clinic and does not offer bulk-billing services. The fees payable for Paediatrician appointments is to compensate the doctor for their time and clinical opinion regarding likely diagnosis and recommended management plan, given their extensive specialist training. This fee is not dependant on whether the parent agrees with the outcome or doctor's opinion.
Drs consultation fees are set individually and will be increased on 1 July 2026 (in line with Medicare rebate increases).

Doctors at this practice have adopted AI (Artificial Intelligence) scribe software to assist with accurate record taking and communication documentation. Further details are outlined in the Privacy Policy (found under 'Services'), and can be requested from the reception staff or discussed with your doctor during the consultation.

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD - including ADOS assessments)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Developmental delay, and speech and language impairment
- Intellectual disability/impairment
- Learning difficulties (Dyslexia)
- Behavioural difficulties and anxiety disorders
- Genetic syndromes
- Sleep, feeding, and continence (toileting) difficulties in children with developmental difficulties
- Initial assessment for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)
- General Paediatric health care and infant wellness checks are offered by two General Paediatricians also working at the Practice.
